Why do a Level 2 Sleep Study?

A Level 2 sleep study gives you almost the same detailed results as a hospital-based test but lets you sleep in your own bed. It’s ideal if you want accurate, in-depth data without the hassle of an overnight hospital stay or long wait times.

Comfortable: Done at home, so you stay comfortable in your normal sleep environment.

Precise: Almost as detailed as a Level 1 hospital study, including brain activity, breathing, heart rate, and oxygen levels.

Quicker: Faster and easier to access than Level 1, with no long hospital waitlists.

Extensive: Detects more than just sleep apnoea by measuring brain activity and sleep stages, making it suitable for identifying other sleep disorders.

Get a GP Referral

Start by seeing your GP or a sleep specialist. Tell them about your sleep problems, if they agree a sleep study is needed, they’ll give you a referral so you can book one.

Book Your Home Sleep Study

Once you have your referral, just drop in or contact one of our partnered pharmacies. Their friendly team will help you book your sleep study, explain the next steps, and make everything easy and stress-free.

Visit Your Local PSC Partnered Pharmacy

Visit a partnered pharmacy around 5pm on the night of your study. Their trained team will set up your Level 2 sleep study equipment for you, making sure everything is fitted correctly to help ensure accurate results.

Sleep Comfortably While the Device Records

Once you’re home, simply go to bed as usual. Your equipment is already set up by their team, so you don’t need to do anything else. The device will quietly record your sleep throughout the night.

Return the Kit and Get Your Results

Bring the device back to the pharmacy the next morning. We’ll send your sleep data to a sleep scientist for review. A sleep physician will then prepare your report and provide results to your doctor or recommend next steps if treatment is needed.

Interested in taking a Level 2 sleep test? Find your nearest pharmacy once you have seen your GP.
